NICE Framework Mapping

Cryptography; Secure Systems Development; Software Security Assessment; Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management; Oversight and Governance; Design and Development.
Overview

This three-day, hands-on course prepares cybersecurity professionals, engineers, developers, compliance personnel, and government contractors to identify cryptographic exposure and conduct an initial post-quantum cryptography migration.

Participants examine Executive Orders 14412 and 14413, discover cryptographic assets using open-source tools, build a Cryptographic Bill of Materials, evaluate entropy sources, interpret CMVP Entropy Source Validation requirements, understand NIST-approved classical and post-quantum algorithms, evaluate FIPS 140-3 cryptographic modules, and migrate a laboratory application from quantum-vulnerable cryptography to a PQC-capable architecture.

Prerequisites

Basic understanding of cybersecurity
Familiarity with Windows or Linux
Basic command-line experience
General understanding of networking and software applications
